Rose Pratt was a Lady's Maid to Lady Kate Salmon, wife of Sir Isidore Salmon (1876-1941), Chairman and Managing Director of Lyons & Co. Ltd.. The address in 1939 was Basement, 51 Mount Street, City of Westminster.

WALTER LEEDER EDGOOSE (1871-1957) 2 SEPTEMBER 1938

He sailed from Southampton on the Empress of Australia bound for Quebec, Canada, as part of the United Kingdom Timber Delegation, arriving on 19 August 1938. His birthday on 2 September was marked by a Canadian Pacific Telegraph addressed to W. L. EDGOOSE British Columbia Timber Trades Tour which bore the message "BIRTHDAY GREETINGS FROM ALL AT HOME NO SIG"
While in Canada he was for a time the guest of the Government of British Columbia.
