The Aldershot staff of W.L. Edgoose & Sons during the First World War. The youngest son (1909-2005) and youngest daughter (1906-1994) of the firm's founder somehow sneaked into the front row without being noticed!

The staff of the Aldershot and Godalming branches in 1934. After the demise of Gridley & Spring in 1933, W. L. Edgoose was invited to take over the lease from the Godalming Navigation. In 1990 the founder's youngest grandson purchased the freehold and later sold it for Sainsbury's new supermarket.

A photograph taken in the very early 1930s of Brenda May Turner, the future Mrs. Brenda May Edgoose. The identity of the two men is unknown, but the photograph was presumably taken by Raymond Thomas James Edgoose - it was found in his family's album.

This photograph came from the Hinchcliff family collection. Their opinion was that it might be a photograph of Sophie Schjoldager.
In my opinion it could well be a photograph of Harriet Edgoose (1858-1916) in middle age.
