A receipted invoice dated October 1903 for a house built for his mother Julia Hannah Edgoose nee Leeder (1850-1946). The nett cost of the house was £330 5s. 6d., to which he added 10% for his profit.

It indicates that Mrs. Elizabeth Strohmeier owned a Home Bakery in Main Street between 1897 and 1901. She seems to have sold out to sisters Harriet and Mildred Appleford.

The Centenary Souvenir of the Methodist Sunday School in Williamstown, 1850-1950.

John James Edgoose (1830-1930) was a probationary minister at Carisbrook Methodist Church in Victoria from 1859 until 1861. As a Probationary he was entitled to use the title Reverend. From 1861 to 1862 he was at Williamstown. The souvenir programme of the Centenary of the Williamstown Methodist Church 1850-1950 shows the REV. J.J. EDGOOSE in the list of former ministers.

The Centenary Souvenir of the Methodist Sunday School in Williamstown, 1850-1950

John James Edgoose (1830-1930) was a probationary minister at Carisbrook Methodist Church in Victoria from 1859 until 1861. As a Probationary he was entitled to use the title Reverend. From 1861 to 1862 he was at Williamstown. The souvenir programme of the Centenary of the Williamstown Methodist Church 1850-1950 shows the REV. J.J. EDGOOSE in the list of former ministers.

A jug dated 1863 which belonged to John Robert Edgoose (1839-1914) and which in 1972 was in possession of his grandson Roy Edgoose in Chicago. It is very similar to a mug dated 1863 given by J. E. to Sarah Wasplent (=Westmoreland?) and which in the 1968 was in the possession of Hilda Burton nee Edgoose (1906-1992). The identity of J. E. is uncertain: John Edgoose, Joel Edgoose?

JOHN ROBERT EDGOOSE's telegram announcing to his sister Harriet the departure from New York, USA, on 2 June 1888 of the body of his mother MARY ELIZABETH GRACE EDGOOSE nee JONES (1814-1888) in a glass topped coffin. He escorted his mother's body to Algarkirk in Lincolnshire.
