Verna Ethel Boote, who married Herbert Leslie Edgoose (1916-1988) in 1942, was buried in the Botanical Cemetery at Springvale, Victoria, Australia.

AGNES ROWLEY EDGOOSE (1845-1933)
She was the daughter of the Reverend Jesse and Eliza Edgoose, died at 6 Chestnut Avenue, Chorlton cum Hardy on 26 February 1933 and was buried in Manchester Southern Cemetery at Chorlton cum Hardy in the same grave as Ernest Crosby and her sister Adelaide Eliza Crosby.

Alfred James Edgoose (1844-1908), second son of the Reverend Jesse Edgoose, has not been traced in the census enumerations of 1871, 1881, 1891 and 1901. He was buried in Denton Cemetery, Manchester, on 19 June 1908. Probate records refer to him as a journeyman cabinet maker.

Benjamin Edgoose (1854-1928) was buried in West Walton cemetery in Norfolk.
On the right can be seen the memorial to George Batterham (1867-1937), his sister Frances Batterham (1852-1917), and Elizabeth Lovock who died in 1915 aged 65.

BERTRAM EDGOOSE (1923-1945)

He was the son of Bertie Horace and Hannah Ann Edgoose. He enlisted as Private No. 14236536 115 Infantry Ordnance Sub Park R.A.O.C. on 16 July 1942 and served in England and in north west Europe. He was accidently drowned in Germany on 19 June 1945 was buried at Hamburg Cemetery, Ohlsdorf, Grave 2A B.15. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star, and the 1939-1945 War Medal.

Frank William Dawson Edgoose (1882-1951 was buried in Quinton Cemetery near Birmingham, Warwickshire, on 24 December 1951.
His wife Emma (1877-1957) joined him in 1957.
There daughter Doris Malisande Edgoose (108-2003) was buried in the same gave in 2003. The gravestone was replaced at this time.

Elizabeth Edgoose (1881-1957) married William Wood (1882-1939) at Sunderland, County Durham, in 1910. She was buried in Newbottle Churchyard, County Durham. Her death was registered under the name Elizabeth M. WOOD. Does the M stand for Martha, her mother's Christian name?
The younger of their two sons, also named William, was awarded the OBE for services to medicine because of his work on the Salk polio vaccine in Canada.

Elizabeth Edgoose (1852-1944) married Richard Strohmeier 1865-1948) in Cook County, Chicago, in 1894. She is buried in the cemetery at Aberdeen, Brown County, South Dakota, USA.

The grave of Elizabeth Edgoose (1852-1944), wife of Richard Strohmeier (1865-1948), in the cemetery at Aberdeen, Brown County, South Dakota, USA. In this 1972 photograph are Clara Strohmeier (1894-1980) and Michael Edgoose's first wife. Clara Strohmeier presented Michael Edgoose with a copy of The Early History of Brown County, South Dakota, in which the names Edgoose and Strohmeier are well represented.

An historic photograph of St. Oswald's Churchyard, Fulford, York, before the gravestones were cleared and aligned along the perimeter walls. The church is now (2017) a private house. Michael Edgoose's first wife is standing by Jesse Edgoose's grave.
