The Will of Frederick HALL:
"THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Frederick HALL of Grove Farm Frimley in the County of Surrey Farmer I give and bequeath all my household furniture plate linen china glass books prints pictures and household effects unto my dear wife Caroline absolutely I devise all my Real Estate and bequeath all the residue of my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my executors and trustees hereinafter named upon trust as soon as conveniently may be after my decease to sell my said real estate either together or in parcels and either by Public auction or private contract and to covert into money such parts of my Residuary Personal Estate as may not consist of money and out of the monies to arise from such sale annd conversion and any ready money of which I may die possessed to pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and invest the remainder of the said monies in such investments as may be authorised by law for the investment of trust funds annd stand possessed thereof in trust to pay the annual income or dividends of the said investments to my said wife during her life And from and after her decease I direct my executors and trustees to stand possessed of the monies so to be investeed as aforesaid upon trust to pay and divide the same unto and equally between such of my children as may survive me and the issue of any of my children who may have predeceased me such issue taking (equally between them if more than one) his her or their deceased parents share per stirpes and not per capita And I declare that my executors and trustees shall have a discretionary power (without being answerable for any loss occasioned thereby) to postpone for such period as to them shall seem expedient the sale and conversion of the whole or any part of my said Residuary Personal Estate (including my business of a Farmer and any other business or businesses carried on by me at the time of my decease) and that the rents profits and income thereof respectively during such period of postponement (including the profits of the said business or businesses while carried on by my trustees and executors under the power in that behalf hereinafter contained) shall after payment thereout of all incidental expenses and outgoings be subject to the trusts hereinbefore contained concerning the monies to arise from the sale and conversion of my said Real and Residuary Personal Estate and be transmissable applied and divivided accordingly And I do also declare that as regards any Real or Leasehold Property remaining unsold my trustees shall be at liberty to let or devise the same either from year to year or for any term of years not exceeding seven years at sucuch rent and subject to such covenants and conditions as they shall think fit to accept surrenders of Leases and tenancies to expend money in repairs and improvements and generally to manage the property according to their absolute discretion and that any money required for repairs and improvements may be raised either out of income or out of the Capital of my Estate as my trustees and executors shall under the circumstances think fair and equitable And I expressly authorise my exececutors and trustees to carry on the trade or business of a Farmer or any other business or businesses now carried on by me during such period as they shall think fit and for that purpose to retain and employ therein the Capital which shall at mmy death be employed therein and such additional Capital as they shall think fit to advance from time to time out of my residuary estate with power for that purpose to cultivate drain improve and manage any farm or farms held by me at the time of my death and to sell and dispose of the live and dead stock for the time being thereon And the crops raised on the same and also to purchase such live and dead stock seeds and manures as they may think fit And also with power to delegate all or any of the powers vested in them in relation to the said business or businesses to any persons or person whom they may think fit And my executors and trustees shall be free from all responsibility and be fully indemnified out of my estate in respect of any loss arising in relation to the said business or businesses I appoint my son Ernest Frank HALL my son in law William Henry ROBINS of Number 12 Lansdowne Road Aldershot and my friend Richard William MASON of Franham (sic) in the County of Surrey Gentleman EXECUTORS and Trustees of this my will And I expressly declare that notwithstanding the acceptance by the said Ernest Frank HALL and William Henry ROBINS of the executorship and trusteeship under this my Will they or ei either of them shall be at liberty to purchase such portions of my said real and residuary personal estate as they or he may desire And I expressly declare that the said Richard William MASON may by himself or his Firm act as Solicitor for or in r relation to my estate or to my executors or executor or trustees or thrustee for the time being and shall be entitled to charge and shall be paid for all business done by him as such Solicitor in the same manner as if he has not been an executor and trustee

"THIS IS A CODICIL to the last Will and Testament of me Frederick HALL which Will bears even date herewith I bequeath to my son Ernest Frank HALL one of my Trustees and Executors in the said Will named the legacy or sum of sixty pounds in adddition to any other benefits he may derive under this my Will but such legacy not to be payable until after the death of my wife In all other respects I confirm my said Will IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand this fifth day oday of October one thousand nine hundred and four - F HALL" - Signed by the said Frederick HALL in the joint presence of us who in his presence and the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses - Samuel SMITH Ash Vale - - W HOPKINS Ash Vale.
On the 4th day of January 1905 Probate of this Will and Codicil was granted to Ernest Frank HALL William Henry ROBINS and Richard William MASON the Executors.
BE IT KNOWN that Frederick HALL of Grove Farm Frimley in the county of Surrey died on 18th. day of October 1904 at Frimley aforesaid
AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN that at the date hereunder written the last Will and Testament with a codicil of the said deceased was proved and registered in the Principal Probate Registry of His Majesty's High Court of Justice, and that administration of all the estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to Ernest Frank HALL of Grove Farm aforesaid farmer the son William Henry ROBINS of 12 Lansdowne Road Aldershot in the county of Hants ironmongers manager and Richard William MASON of Farnham in the said county of Surrey solicitor to the Executors named in the said Will
