Albert EDGOOSE is listed as a joiner at Spalding in the 1841 census returns, living at Westlode Street with shoemaker Samuel LAMBERT, his wife Susan LAMBERT, and brickmaker John JACKSON. He was born in Lincolnshire.
      (HO107/610/4/14)

He was living at Spalding on 1 June 1842 when he married Sarah HARDWICK, the widowed daughter of Benjamin BALES, a Spalding stall keeper, at Spalding parish church. John BALES and Elizabeth EDGOOSE were witnesses.

He died at Westlode Side, Spalding, on 3 May 1847. Elizabeth BRINGATE was in attendance. His death was reported in the Lincolnshire Chronicle on 7 May 1847:
