    Benjamin Edgoose (1854-1928) was buried in West Walton cemetery in Norfolk.

      "This is the last Will of me Frances BATTERHAM of West Walton in the County of Norfolk Spinster whereby I revoke all my former Wills and testamentary dispositions I appoint my brothers George BATTERHAM and John Stanton BATTERHAM Executors and trusteesof this my Will I give three hundred pounds free of duty to my sister Ruth HORRY two hundred pounds free of duty to my sister Maria HERRING and one hundred pounds free of duty to my brother Joseph BATTERHAM I devise and bequeath all real and personal estate not hereby otherwise disposed of except copyhold property unto my said trustees Upon trust that they shall sell get in and convert into money the same and I empower and direct my said trustees to sell all my copyhold property and I declare that my said trustees shall out of the net moneys arising from such sale getting in and conversion pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and the pecuniary legacies hereby given and the duty thereon and shall hold the residue of all the said moneys in trust for my brothers the said George BATTERHAM and John Stanton BATTERHAM and my sister Ruth HORRY in equal shares for their own use and benefit and I declare that the said George BATTERHAM notwithstanding that he is or shall be an executor or trustee of this my Will shall have the option to be declared within twelve calendar months after my death by a notice in writing to be given to the other trustee or trustees for the time being of this my will to purchase my dwelling buildings and garden containing two roods (more or less) in West Walton aforesaid at the price of three hundred pounds and any portion of my other real estate he may select at the price of one hundred pounds per acre In witness whereof I the said Frances BATTERHAM have hereunto set my hand this seventeenth day of October one thousand nine hundred and sixteen."

      Frances BATTERHAM of West Walton, Norfolk, spinster, died on 24 January 1917. Probate was granted at Norwich on 22 February 1917 to George BATTERHAM and John Stanton BATTERHAM. Effects amounted to 2,466 8s. 9d.
      "BE IT KNOWN that Frances BATTERHAM of West Walton in the County of Norfolk Spinster who at the time of her death had a fixed place of abode at West Walton aforesaid within the District of the County of Norfolk died on the twenty-fourth day of January 1917 at West Walton aforesaid
      AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN that at the date hereunder written the last will and Testament of the said deceased was proved and registered in the District Probate Registry of Her Majesty's High Court of Justice at Norwich and that administration of all the estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to George BATTERHAM of Ivy House West Walton aforesaid Fruit Grower and John Stanton BATTERHAM of Lark Field Lynn Road Walsoken in the said County Fruit Grower the Brothers of the deceased the Executors named in the said Will
