"Symon the son of Symon EDGOOSE and Rebeckah his wife was borne the 27th day of the seaventh month called September in the yeare 1664 in the towne of Sibse in the parts of Bullinbrook Sook:"

Neither the surname of his wife, nor the date or place of any marriage, has been traced.
Sarah, daughter of Symon EDGOSE [sic], was baptised at Sibsey on 9 April 1693.
He died at Leake, Lincolnshire, in 1720.
In his will he made bequests to his granddaughter Sarah SHEACROFT and to his son-in-law John SHEACROFT:
