- GRACE GARRETT (1854-1910)
Grace GARRETT was baptised at Geelong, Victoria, Australia, in 1854, the daughter of John GARRETT and Mary HAYES. Her birth does not appear to have been registered, although another source records that registration of births began in 1856.
The baptism was apparently recorded in Geelong church register in 1854. The reference to the record (which I have not seen) is as follows:

NOTES & QUERIES:
A John Masters GARRETT died at Geelong, Victoria, 0n 11 June 1881 aged 53, i.e. born circa 1828. He was married. The name of his wife was said to be Emma Mary GARRETT. He was buried in Western Cemetery, Herne Hill, Geelong, Victoria.
