- SAMUEL RICHARDS 1780-1854
SAMUEL, son of MATHEW RICHARDS and his wife MARY née SOAR, was baptised at Strelley, Derbyshire, on 28 December 1780.
He married MARY .......... before the 1841 census.
At the time of the 1841 census he was a coalminer. An AMELIA ROBINSON was living with him and his wife MARY.
He was still a coalminer at the time of the 1851 census. Their grandson JOHN RICHARDS aged 5 was living with them.
SAMUEL RICHARDS died at Strelley, Derbyshire, on 19 March 1854.
